Martinsicuro

No one would expect that this charming town, which welcomes an increasing number of tourists every year, rests on the vestiges of Trentum-Castrum Trentinum founded, according to Pliny the Elder, by the Liburni people.

Today Martinsicuro is a favourite destination for those who choose a beach holiday, boasting long kilometres of sandy beach that continues uninterrupted to the hamlet of Villa Rosa, facing a sea with crystal-clear waters.

The seafront promenade that runs along the beach also has a bicycle path that continues for 30 km and is very popular with bicycle enthusiasts who can enjoy the seascape on their rides.
Another peculiarity are the two protected stretches of coastline where rare species of flora and fauna, the biotope, have been found, constituting a true natural treasure, guarded and preserved by the Abruzzo town. Martinsicuro is, therefore, synonymous with holidays, sun and sea where there is an extensive network of accommodation facilities capable of fully meeting the demands of tourists. Among the major ones are campsites and villages, which are constantly developing new offers with ever-increasing services to guarantee a high standard of quality.
